Feed our fuel injector harness into the DME box through the same rubber sheathing as the factory harness.
Lay the fuel injector harness over the valve cover and bunch the loose wire ends together.
Gently wrap tape around the loose wire ends to protect the terminals from damage.
Remove the sub-connector from the main connector body of our signal box. This is done in the same way as the DME sub-connectors, depress the tab and slide them out. This will allow you to push the connector through the rubber sheathing and into the DME box.
Gently push the harness through the rubber sheathing until the taped end appear inside the DME box. Pull through about 1 foot of the harness.
Familiarize yourself with the terminals on the end of our fuel injection harness. You will find a heatshrink label on each wire with numbers from 7 to 12.
The wires must be installed into the correct position or vehicle/engine damage can occur!
Starting with the wire labeled number 7, insert the terminal into the corresponding position (7) in the connector you depinned above (DME fuel injector connector). Continue inserting all wires into their correct positions and recheck your work to ensure the wires have been inserted into the correct positions.
Note that positions 1 - 6 will remain empty. Only positions 7-12 are used on the fuel injector connector.
See the above photo demonstrating correct pinning. At this point the fuel injector connector can be reinserted into the DME connector housing.
