For this step you will need to depin and repin your existing stock DME connector for the ignition coils. Remove the ignition coil connector from the DME connector housing. Familiarize yourself with the wire/terminal positions labeled on the connector as seen below in green. There are 6 total wires with 3 one each side of the connector.

Remove all wires from the connector by inserting a depinning tool into the highlighted slots below. Apply light pressure to the depinning tool in the opposite direction of the terminal. This will depress the tab on the terminal and allow you to remove the wire from the connector by pulling the wire out of the connector. Make sure you keep the tab depressed while pulling on the wire. Two of the wire terminals have their locking tabs exposed on the outside of the connector. Simply depress these tabs while lightly pulling on the wire. The wires should separate from the connector body with minimal effort.

Now you are ready to remove the factory ignition coil harness. Gently pull the factory harness out of the DME box towards the engine through the rubber sheathing.
